  • Our Learning Environment:

    Imprints Day School offers a nurturing environment for all children. Each classroom from infants to preschool-aged children has age-appropriate materials and environments to encourage learning, playing and exploring. The classroom has trained teachers that are full of enthusiasm and support so that the growth and development of our children are maximized. Collaborating with parents, we celebrate the individuality of each child by recognizing their strengths and building upon them. Imprints Day School provides the essential love, respect, and responsiveness to allow each child to reach his or her potential.

Our Team

 

Andrea White

Owner/Director

Andrea received her bachelor’s degree in Family Studies in 2007 from the University of New Hampshire. She entered the Master’s Program in 2008 where she received her Master's Degree in Elementary Education.  After graduating, she began working at Imprints Day School where she was a lead teacher in the infant and toddler classrooms. Andrea spent some time in the Public School System working in various classrooms from Kindergarten through 3rd grade. Andrea soon realized that her passion was working in the Early Childhood Education Field.

Upon joining the Imprints Day School family once again, Andrea took on the role of Preschool Supervisor when the new building was built in 2011. Throughout the years, Andrea has transitioned from Preschool Supervisor, to Program Coordinator, followed by Assistant Director and then Director.

In October 2022, after working 14 years under the guidance and support of Maria Flemming, Andrea and her husband Nate were given the opportunity to purchase Imprints to continue to ensure that Imprint Day School provides the essential love, respect, and responsiveness each child deserves, in an enthusiastic, supportive environment that fosters growth and development.

Andrea resides in Nottingham, NH with her husband, three children and 2 dogs. Her family enjoys spending their time outside whether it be four-wheeling, having fires, spending time swimming in the lake at their family’s camp in Ossipee, NH or hitting the slopes during the winter months.

 

Kayla Mills

Program Coordinator

Kayla received her Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and Psychology from Keene State College in 2010.  

She began working at Imprints Day School in 2011 as an infant teacher. 

​In 2013, Kayla was promoted to Lead Teacher of the infant and toddler department where she then went on to be the Supervisor.  

After the birth of her son in 2017, Kayla spent time working in the two year old department before moving to preschool.

​In 2018 after spending a year in preschool, Kayla took on the position of the Program Coordinator after having many years experience in all the departments at Imprints Day School.

​Kayla is married to her husband, Matt and live in Newmarket with their sons Brady and Owen. As a family, they enjoy traveling and spending time with their family and friends.

 

Cassie Hamel

Program Coordinator

Cassie graduated Plymouth State University in 2016 with a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. Right out of college, she started her career in a Pre-Kindergarten classroom where she worked for the past 7 years. While there, she earned her director’s certification which she is eager to use as she starts her career with Imprints Day School. Cassie has taken on the role as one of the Program Coordinators working alongside Ms. Kayla. She believes in good communication with teachers, parents, and children to help provide the best care possible.

During the weekends, Cassie enjoys spending time with her family and boyfriend at the lake in the summer and winter. Cassie and her boyfriend, Will, also enjoy movie nights of any genre. During free time they like to take road trips to visit new places and family.

 

Rebecca Mills

Infant Supervisor

Rebecca began her journey with Imprints Day school in 2007 working as after school help. She started full-time for us in 2011 while working toward her degree in Early Childhood Education. Rebecca worked a few years as our Toddler Supervisor and currently holds the position of our Infant Supervisor. In addition, she serves as our Operations Manager helping oversee various things each day. Rebecca is a resident of Hampton with her husband Adam, their dog, cat and chickens.

 

Lauren Bertone

Pre-K Supervisor & Summer Camp 

In 2015, Lauren began working at Imprints Day School as a Lead Pre-K teacher in the Bumble Bee classroom. In 2021, she was promoted to the position of Pre-K Supervisor. 

In 2020-2021, Lauren developed and implemented our summer program that offers a garden and nature-based summer camp experience to our Pre-K graduates. 

Lauren has a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and is currently working on her Master’s of Education in Teaching & Learning: Experiential Learning in Early Childhood with Clemson University. 

Lauren and her fiancé, Kevin, live in Salisbury, Massachusetts with their dog, Legend, and two cats, Sheba and Mica. They are currently expecting their first child -- a baby boy due in May 2022!

 

Jessica Johnson

Young Preschool Supervisor 

Jessica graduated from Northern Essex Community College with her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education. She then went on to receive her Bachelor Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Fitchburg State University in 2017. Jessica spent many years working as a paraeducator in a Kindergarten classroom in public school. She has experience working with Special Education students as well implementing behavior plans, ABA curriculum, and other services. Jessica joined the Imprints team in March of 2021 as a preschool teacher. Within a few months, she was promoted to supervisor of the toddler department and building manager. Since then, Jess has gone back to the preschool team where she works side by side with Ms. Nikki. Jessica encourages positive attitudes and being problem solvers with her staff members, being kind and caring friends, and that every day is a new day! Jess grew up in Haverhill, Ma. but has lived locally in Hampton for the last three years. When she is not at work, Jess enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, Bryan and her fur-kids, Arlo and Stella! She starts off every morning taking a long walk on the beach with her pups and starting off her work day on a positive note!

Nicole King

“Ms. Nikki” was born and raised in Hampton, NH. She graduated from Winnacunnet High School, where she captained field hockey and softball. After attending NHTC and Keene State College, Ms. Nikki earned her bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. She also holds an Early Childhood Master Teacher Credential from the Department of Health and Human Service. 

Nikki began her teaching career in 1997, educating 3 to 5-year-olds and providing social work assistance to families with the Hampton Head Start program. Since then, Nikki has moved up and down the east coast, teaching Pre-Kindergarten (4-5 years), Kindergarten (5-6 years), Special Education, as well as successfully coordinating 2 public- school preschool classrooms (ages 3 – 6) in collaboration with Child Development Services and the Head Start program.

Nikki began supervising 4 preschool classrooms in the Imprints Day School Preschool Department in 2019. She currently works closely, supervising eight well-educated, creative, fun teachers and 68 children ages 2.5 – 4 years! 

Nikki is a proud mom to 2 adult children, Matthias and Meredith. She currently resides in North Hampton with her huge Siberian cat, Wilson, and better-half, Tim. Nikki enjoys summers on the ocean, boating with family and friends, and traveling to warm, sandy places. She also lives for school “dress up” days!

Nikki is a dedicated educator specializing in early childhood development and behavioral strategies. She is enthusiastic about providing a safe, compassionate, structured environment where children learn through play.

 

Michelle Leary

Michelle Leary began her teaching journey with Imprints Day School in August of 2010, after graduating from college the previous year. She worked with children in both private and public school systems throughout her college years. In 2009, she graduated from Plymouth State University with her Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Studies. She currently maintains her New Hampshire K-3 teacher certification.

     Michelle initially started at Imprints as a preschool lead teacher, and was promoted to Preschool Supervisor in 2013. Since then, she has worked as a supervisor in multiple departments, including the two year old and pre-kindergarten departments. She is currently the Two Year Old Supervisor and manages a team of six wonderful teachers and many busy little toddlers!

     Michelle believes in educating the whole child, as a means to develop all aspects of their growth. She advocates for children and families to receive individualized care and support each day. Michelle currently lives in Exeter with her husband, Phil and stepdaughter Alysen. She and her family enjoy spending time at the beach and in the White Mountains. 

Maria Flemming

Advisory Consultant

Maria Flemming received her Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education (K-3) in 1992 from Fitchburg State College. Since graduation, she has worked in several child care facilities in all levels of care. Following work in the Peabody, MA Public School System and teaching in Lawrence, MA, Maria obtained her Director I and II qualifications and began training staff members in two large child care facilities in the Boston area.

Married since 1992, Maria has made it her priority to raise her family with the best that life has to offer. Maria and her husband finally decided to have children after eight years of marriage. They had their daughter Isabel in 2000 and son Max in 2003. She comes from a large family and holds traditional family values paramount. In addition to her kids, she has two Frenchtons named Xena and Freya. She loves to spend quiet weekends with her family and enjoys the summer months at the beach and taking in movies with the kids.

In late 2005, Maria purchased Imprints Day School to finally develop the childcare center of her dreams.

In 2011, Maria built a new facility for Imprints Day School that would provide the best care possible.

In 2013, Maria added a preschool wing to Imprints with an indoor gym to accommodate the growing needs of the school.

As of October 3, 2022 Brent and Maria sold Imprints Day School to long time friend, confidante and director Andrea White. Andrea and her husband Nate will be continuing to provide the essential love, respect and responsiveness each child deserves, in an enthusiastic, supportive environment that fosters growth and development.
